While I appreciate the design, i.e., the curvilinear spigot which factors in rectal anatomy, the water tends to get aerated, causing trapped air in the lower colon, which can lead to unpleasant gas and/or remnants well after douching. Of course, I learned to use this cautiously, and, to avoid aeration, I have filled the bulb to the brim, but this is far too much fluids, so I have attempted to use the water sparingly; to no avail. My recommendation is: buying an enema device that measures CCs --to track the amount of fluids-- and creates a more direct flow, much like a syringe, which can reduce aeration.

I love the size and curve of the nozzle - that aspect is very comfortable. However, there are small holes on the sides of the nozzle towards the tip, and water comes out these holes as opposed to out the end of the tip. These holes are small but do not have smooth edges, and they often scratch me on the inside when the enema is in use. I had to buy another one.

You should only use clean water in your enema. And use it until what comes back out is clean.

I didn't like it. I tried to use it like a Fleet's enema. The holes are so big that the water comes out as soon as you turn it upside down to insert it. So water went all over my bed. Then I figured out that you have to get in the shower to do it (not very convenient) and either squat on it or put it in while you're standing. Then I tried to lay down in the shower to administer it. Not comfortable. If you let go of the bulb in order to squeeze it again to get more water in it, it sucks the water (and everything else) in your rectum and back into the bottle. That was disgusting. The bottle doesn't always stay well sealed with the tip and you lose enema that way as well. I'm going back to Fleet's until I get the bigger one that hangs from the shower head that you can control the flow, etc. I'm hoping it's a better product than this one.

I like the product and it does exactly what is say's on the label. But I want more information and choices. For instances how many refills and evacuations, my experience is 6 refills, is that enough, not enough? and the "mixture" I would like a choice of additives rather than just liquid soap and water. Matter of fact I would like a range of additives and description of quality's ranging from nice healthy herbal stuff to out and out "get-out"
